Although regulations vary by country and municipality, a permit is generally required for an industrial tent or Flexhal that remains in place for more than 31 days. Tent structures fall under the European standard NEN-EN 13782. This standard sets specific requirements for wind and snow loads for demountable tents; our industrial tents fully comply with this standard. Although our Flexhal has the appearance and robustness of a permanent building, in many cases it can be installed under a temporary permit (up to 15 years). This allows you to benefit from the lower technical requirements applicable to temporary constructions, while still using a fully insulated steel structure that matches traditional permanent buildings in quality. As regulations may vary locally, we always recommend contacting your local authority. The ground requirements for both our industrial tents and the Flexhal are surprisingly flexible. In most cases, both structures can be installed directly on an existing flat and paved surface such as concrete, asphalt or paving stones. Where traditional construction requires expensive foundations, we use smart anchoring techniques: industrial tents are secured with ground pins or concrete anchors, and for the heavier steel construction of the Flexhal we use special base plates with heavy-duty anchors. As a result, a foundation is generally not required, which significantly reduces construction costs and time. For specific applications, such as a temporary shop or office, the industrial tent can also be equipped with heavy duty flooring. This not only provides additional stability and a level finish, but also ensures a professional appearance for your temporary business space.

To provide the right level of protection for every requirement, we distinguish between five types of structures, each with its own level of insulation. Our industrial tents offer the first four levels: this starts with a simple canopy against rain, followed by an uninsulated industrial tent with PVC tent tarpaulin for dry storage. For greater protection, there is the partially insulated tent structure with sandwich panel walls, and the highest-quality option within the aluminium segment is the fully insulated aluminium structure, which uses both sandwich panels and air-insulated roof tarpaulins. The Flexhal is our fifth and most insulated structure; this steel construction is fully insulated with sandwich panels in both the walls and roof, where you determine the thickness and insulation material (such as PIR or rock wool). This makes the industrial tent the fastest solution for warehouse space or a temporary office, while the Flexhal is the best choice as high-quality business space, such as a workshop, showroom or production hall.

Flexibility is at the core of our offering. Our industrial tents are designed for maximum modularity: they can be extended or shortened in 5-metre sections when your business needs change. Because the structure is fully demountable, the tent can be relocated without loss of value to a new location or even be resold. The Flexhal is also modular and designed to be relocatable, but due to its heavier steel construction and high-quality finishing, this is a larger logistical operation. As a result, the Flexhal particularly excels as a semi-permanent solution that remains in place for many years, while the industrial tent is the ideal choice for companies that want to retain full flexibility. Because the technical documentation is part of the structure, the building can also be easily approved at a new location.

The investment depends closely on the dimensions, type of structure and additional options. An industrial tent is the most cost-efficient solution for immediate space requirements; depending on the configuration, base prices for a standard model generally range between €25,000 and €42,500. The basic Flexhal is positioned in terms of pricing between an industrial tent and traditional new construction (from €50,000). In this case, you invest in a heavier steel construction and a higher insulation value. Although the purchase price of a Flexhal is higher, this investment pays off in the long term through lower energy costs, a higher residual value and significant savings on foundation costs compared to a permanent building.
