Nine rallies, one aluminium hall: the Toyota Gazoo Racing service area

For Toyota Gazoo Racing’s WRC championship, we supplied a 10x30x3-meter TT225 with a heavy-duty floor, which is erected and dismantled nine times a year, from the start in Monte Carlo to the finish in Italy.

Strict requirements for flooring and structure
With this kind of intensive use, every detail counts. The floor had to be able to withstand heavy loads in order to effortlessly support the weight and movements of rally cars, tools and equipment. At the same time, that same floor acts as ballast for the hall – a clever dual function that allows for quick assembly and dismantling at different locations, without the need for additional ballast.
In addition, a full TÜV inspection and an official tent manual were strict requirements. This makes sense, given the international locations where the hall is erected and the end client behind it: everything must demonstrably comply with the applicable safety standards, regardless of the country in which the rally is held. With these documents in order, Movico can get straight to work at every stage, without the hassle of local inspections or additional requirements.
